Transformers is the first film of the Hasbro Cinematic Universe, released on July 3, 2007. It grossed $709 million worldwide. It was directed by David S. Goyer from a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and a story by Kurtzman, Orci and John Rogers, and starred Shia LaBeouf and Ashley Lauren.
